Thanksgiving 2009
Glad that a release date has been decided (for November 20, 2009), Planet 51 has been pushed backed more than one time indeed. The movie comes late though: CGI is more than widespread by now, we are even talking about 3D animated movie with Monsters vs Aliens. But the film still looks appealing, and has a nice plot: Planet 51 could be a nice family movie for Thanks giving 2009.

Planet 51 is an upcoming CGI animated movie produced by Ilion Animation Studios. In the voice cast: Dwayne Johnson, Justin Long and Jessica Biel.

A making-of featurette has been made available for Planet 51.

The Plot:

Planet 51 will have to compete with Space Chimps. Looks like space is the new frontier for CGI movies this summer...
